Tricoter (Pronounced "Tri'•ko•tay") is the unconjugated French verb to knit. We believe that the benefits of knitting go far beyond the obvious production of functional garments to cover the body.

A colorful, creative knitting shop full of scrumptious yarns, accessories and books with a staff of passionate knitters, Tricoter is eager to offer encouragement, inspiration and technical assistance.  We provide custom knitting services as well as classes, workshops and private instructions.

Our goal is to make sure you get the desired results for every project you make - especially sweaters that fit!  We provide custom pattern design and encourage you to come in to knit with friends and get assistance throughout your entire project.

You are welcome to join us whether you are new to knitting or rekindling an old passion.  We feel incredibly lucky to be able to combine business and pleasure every day and hope to become one of your favorite destinations.  We have provided service around the world hope that you'll share us with your out-of-town visitors and friends.

Tricoter is located about 10 minutes east of downtown Seattle on the south side of E. Madison Street, 1/2 block east of Lake Washington Blvd.  We're on the ground floor of Arboretum Court with off-street parking in front of our shop.
